A fierce earthquake struck Haiti late Tuesday afternoon, causing a crowded hospital to collapse causing many people to become injured or even dead. This earthquake caused many citizens to lose their loved ones, as well as their overall home structure. The Article addresses the 2010 earthquake that had occured, and how many innocent lives were affected by this horrific event including completely destroying a crowded hospital. The article is specfically talking about how when the earthquake struck, many people screamed for help trying to call the paramedics, but there was no answer on the other side of the telephone. This article is biased quite strongly regarding the issue because it mentions how Haiti sits on a large fault that has caused catastrophic quakes in the past, and how this earthquake was described as the mostpowerful thing that hit the reigion. Furthermore, this issue is important because many innocent youths and adults were killed during the quake, and causing many citizens to have no where to live or sleep. Canada took a big part in rebuilding Haiti's over all country by starting some fundraisers for Haiti 2010, and bringing food and water for half the populaton of what is left in Haiti. This issues affects Canada as a whole because many canadian soliders living in Haiti have become injured due to the quake leaving over 200,000 citizens homeless on the streets. By Canada taking courageous actions, this creates a relationship bond between Haiti and Canada, which means that if Canada ever had a outrageous earthquake, Haiti would be gladly to help out because Canada did it for them one time when they had a earthquake.
